Working Playground is now Urban Arts Partnership!

We decided to change the name as a result of increased unease with the Working Playground name, which no longer reflected the focus or mission of the organization.  In December of 2007, the Board of Directors unanimously voted to approve Urban Arts Partnership and the associated tagline ‘Inspiring Public Education’ which together convey both our broad objectives and our dynamic emphasis on creativity and partnership.  With a newly designed logo which incorporates certain conceptual elements, the results are spectacular, and the new name and visual identity has energized the staff, teaching artists, students and, we hope, our supporters. We feel renewed and invigorated by the task that lies ahead -- to continue the amazing work that was started seventeen years ago and take it to the next level, reaching out in partnership to new locations and embracing the challenges ahead.

As we move forward, we hope you will consider the beautiful connections that Working Playground has inspired in you and take this next step with us, as Urban Arts Partnership.
