got me wishing

but bombs are the
only things in syndication
with circulation of
peace-weary veteranalysts
in an act of twisted
taxidermy,
we stuff these hawks
with patriotism and
venomous bile
so they can rattle on
about the good ol' days
of beating hippies
in the 60's
who've come around
again this wartime
popping revolutionary Viagra
and holding up their signs
with their hard-ons,
my government can't let
bygones be bygones
we're watching a
rerun of Desert Storm 91'
the media war is over for certain
and soon we'll all be cashing
in on favors from
Halliburton
because I'm expecting
a higher stakes sequel
with ratings unequaled
the events in this show
will cause mass hysteria:
